• RMT members are set to strike from this Friday from 6.45am for 24 hours, and then every Friday following. Strikes will continue until further notice until the dispute is resolved.
• The Standard notes that many large businesses are to be hit by a significant CrossRail ‘tax’ under Mayor Johnson’s plans. Meanwhile, small businesses are off the hook.
• Christian Wolmar searches for ‘intellectual coherence’ in the Tories rail policies.
• Tube Lines is considering legal action to recoup the £327m compensation claim it lost last month.
